The Water Way title has dualistic meaning. Inspired by my time in and around the stunning intercostal waterways of South Florida, this piece embodies the calming yet powerful flow of water.
In the Tao De Ching, ancient Chinese philosopher Lao Tzu declares, "Water is fluid, soft and yielding. But water will wear away rock, which is rigid and cannot yield. As a rule, whatever is fluid, soft and yielding will overcome whatever is rigid and hard. This is another paradox: what is soft is strong."
Be like water. It is the way.
