Prana - 36 x 48 in.

Experience the captivating energy of "Prana," a unique collage painting that captures the expansive spirit of the sea and sky. This artwork is a masterful blend of techniques, beginning with a rubberized paint on watercolor paper. Next the cyanotype is applied and exposed to the sun. The resulting atmospheric blues and varied textures are then meticulously cut, layered, and collaged onto canvas. Acrylic paint is applied with bold, gestural marks, allowing the cyanotype imagery to peek through, creating a dynamic interplay of emergence and disappearance. This piece offers a striking balance of texture, movement, and depth, feeling both spontaneous and thoughtfully constructed.

"Prana" is perfect for adding a touch of abstract expressionism to any room. Its abstract subject matter and minimalist tendencies make it incredibly versatile. The striking design, with its linear shapes and angular dynamism, creates a compelling visual contrast that draws the eye.
