My abstract work is inspired by the emotional connection I have to the landscapes that surround me and often include elements of sky, water and mountains.
The title Current Flow has double meaning, First, it alludes to the state of one’s current emotion wellness and connection to the Earth. The second is the flow of water that I experienced living near the inter-coastal waterways of South Florida.
The foundation for this painting is paper collage. Using that structure to guide the process I used paint and oil stick to create a bold, graphic painting with heavy texture.
