Afloat is the latest artwork in an ongoing series of landscape referential abstract paintings. My exploration is fueled by my love of collage materials, utilizing a variety of media to create movement, texture, and compositional interest. 
 
In my latest mixed-media abstract collage I embark on a visual journey that celebrates the convergence of landscapes and seascapes, chronicling my relocation from the Florida coast to the Blue Ridge mountains. Comprised of a variety of materials including collage and spray paint with layers of acrylic paint. Each element within the composition reflects a new beginning, an opportunity for adventure, and a reflection of my path as an artist. Through the intuitive exploration of layers of texture, color, and pattern, I invite viewers to explore the intricate tapestry of my artistic evolution and personal odyssey.
